Our Business

For over 20 years, Colorado Custom Stone and its team of expert craftsmen possess the technology and know-how to create exceptional stone finishes for the most complex designs. As an accredited member of the International Surface Fabricators Association (ISFA), Natural Stone Institute (NSI) and a NSI Accredited fabricator and installer, CCS has met or exceeded a series of skills, safety, financial, and quality standards that only a select number of hard surface fabricators achieve. This means you can trust that the end product you receive from CCS has been made with the utmost care and precision, eliminating costly delays in production and at the job site. For more information on the Natural Stone Institute accreditation criteria, download the the NSI Accreditation Handbook here.

OUR FACILITY

In 2018, CCS moved into its new, state-of-the-art production facility and company headquarters just north of downtown Denver. The lobby doubles as a showroom, featuring a sampling of the unique stone materials and other engineered slab materials fabricated in our 26,000 square foot shop.

production TECHNOLOGY

The production area is highlighted by the fully automated Robo SawJet and abrasive waterjet cutting system. This sophisticated piece of machinery reduces the amount of time needed to position material, layout proper vein patterns and precision cut stone/quartz/porcelain surfaces, increasing output volume and reducing waste.

SUSTAINABILITY

One of the core values of Colorado Custom Stone is to manufacture in a manner that reduces the environmental impact associated with our company and the products we create. In designing our new facility, we put words to action and selected equipment that operates efficiently and uses minimal resources to operate.

Water is used throughout the stone fabrication process, and CCS has chosen machinery and processes that pull the least amount of water from city utilities. To get the most out of the water we utilize, the used water is circulated through our fully automated water recycling system. Starting with an in-ground trough system to capture excess water from the production process, the water is processed through several tanks for large particle capture. It then travels through a water filter press which cleanses the water to 99.8%.

Stone Scrap Recycle Program – Inevitably, stone scrap is created in the production process, and many times, it is not resalable. Rather than sending it to the landfill, we take the scrap to a gravel company where it is pulverized for use in road construction.
